Screening Services

Dedicated Imaging offers a complete array of advanced screening services that use state-of-the-art technology to provide priceless information about individual health status and conditions based on their risk factors. The earlier any abnormalities are diagnosed, even before symptoms arise, the sooner intervention and treatment can begin. Many of the screening procedures offered at our facilities are quick, painless, and require very little or no radiation exposure. We also ensure the very highest quality of care through prompt diagnosis and reporting.

Check with your insurance provider to see which screening services are covered under your plan, or if you have higher risk factors and would like to schedule.

VIRTUAL COLONOSCOPY

New advanced technology procedure, has higher accuracy, better tolerance, and is less invasive than current screening methods for detection of pre-cancerous growths, called polyps; cancer; and other diseases of the large intestine.

CALCIUM SCORING CT HEART SCAN

A revolutionary new way to detect heart disease in less then 10 minutes. 3D images of heart and blood vessels are produced and to help determine if you could potentially be at risk for a heart attack. AHA has identified several risk factors, they are if you smoke, high cholesterol,  high blood pressure, physically inactive, overweight, diabetes, or family history of coronary artery disease. If you have any risk factor then this is a good screening  test for coronary artery disease risk stratification.

LUNG CT SCREENING

If you have an elevated risk of lung cancer, such as current or former smokers, and those with exposure to second hand smoke or other lung damaging occupational hazards, this simple test can determine abnormalities before symptoms occur. This CT Technology can show small  lung cancers that would not show up on an Xray or other similar tests.

(AAA) ULTRASOUND

Medicare now pays for a one-time ultrasound screening for AAA for beneficiaries who are at risk and who have not previously had AAA US exam paid under the Medicare program. Eligible patients fit in at least one of the following risk categories: 1)Have a family history of abdominal aortic aneurysms 2) Are a man age 65 to 75 who has smoked at least 100 cigarettes in his lifetime 3)Manifests other risk factors recommended for screening by the US Preventive Services Task Force regarding AAA
